What is Barcode reader?

It also know as a point of sale (POS) scanner is a hardware device.it is capable to read barcode (lines of different widths and sizes and printing out the details of the product that product into a database.the super market (Reliance fresh,National Handloom,More etc.) is a perfect example of a barcode reader to read price of a product.
